Default 235/50r18's

Hi guys! I'm new to the 350z world but recently picked up a 2003 with 52000 miles. I work at a Hyundai dealer and can get 235/50r18 Genesis tires with almost full tread for free. People take them off quite often. I was just curious what to expect when running these on the rear. My 350z is a Touring model. I know my speedo will be off a little and I'm hoping they won't rub in the fender wells. From what I've seen they are about 1/2" taller and about 1/10" narrower. I'd love to run stock but I can't pass up free tires.

Thanks for any info.

235/50r18: Actual speed 100 MPH. Speedometer will read 97.91 MPH. This is acceptable.

Had them installed today and they are working great. My gps says I'm going about 1/2 a mile an hour faster than my speedo which is closer than my bald nt850's in the correct size. They look wider than the others also. They are Dunlope 5000's I think. Nothing better than $22.00 rears! Thanks for the info davidv!
