Air leaking out side wall. 19x9.5 rim 225/40/19 tire
SO like always.. only one tire is having a problem.. theres always one!...
anyways the guy that mounted my tires said the tire thats leaking could be dry rotted.. But there like almost brand new tires. and when I tried myself to put air in the tires a section of the side wall is leaking you can clearly hear it.
But when I run my finger down the lip of the rim and meet where the tire is leaking.. the tire feels caved in at that protion. Not noticable by the naked eye but you can clearly feel it when you rub your figer down the rim.
So my question is has anyone ran into this issue before? Im thinking about getting it checked out by a second shop.. just dont want to waste the money on another 225/40/19 because they are a BITC** to find!.. also I dont think 225/40/19 is to crazy of a stretch on a 19x9.5 right? Ive seen crazier...

1. you could have debris between tire and wheel.
2. bead could be torn.
3. your wheels barrel can be correded causing the leak.
4. it could actually be leaking from the sidewall (tires no good if so)
5. i been at discount tire for 2 years. worked on about 234234234234 tires. seen tires dry rotted to hell. dont think i EVER seen a leak just cuz its dry rotted? dont believe that...i could be wrong maybe it could be possible. but i highly doubt it.
i have a 225/40/19 ecsta spt with about a months use. pm if you need it.

Yeah.. So finally found a shop that said they can fix it no problem... and the tire ended up exploding in the guys face.. Rubber gouging his eye and leaving the tech deaf in one ear.. I guess here in Virginia people dont really do the Stretch flush game.. I dont get how these guys on here get those crazy wide rims and do a super stretch. =(
