Nice choice. Always good to see people doing their own thing and not just following the herd.

Deep dish rims are just as gaudy as spinnas. IMO they do absolutely nothing for performance. Deep dish rims look awesome with neon and giant GT wings. In 2 year your going to look at them and laugh. Those Volks look like you bought wheels with performance in mind.

Del105, I was thinking about going 19's and deep dish but I knew I would lose performance with that size. Also the potholes around here would destroy 19" deep dish rims w/ a 35 profile. Don't get me wrong I think 19's look awsome, I just can't afford to be fixing rims every 6 months.

s
ya, that is why so many guys run spinners on thier porsches and ferarris in the ALMS and American Le Mans series.

sorry bro, you are way off base here, not saying a wheel has to be deep dish to be performance, but It isn't the other way either (btw, F1 and CART have "deep dish" wheels as well, I don't see anyone laughing there)

You are on crack my friend. Deep dish wheels have been around on performance cars for quite a while. I seriously doubt u will see "spinnas" 2 years from now, but deep dish rims are here to stay.

Hey, looking good John!!! I wonder where you got the rims? hehehe. Now all you need is take some high resolution pics. The blue on the volks matches your car color way better than on mine.

Thanks apharmdb! I also liked the blue accents, I guess it kinda makes up for the fact that I don't have a lip.

Just added these Ray's blue anodized lug nuts today. Sorry it rained today so the rim is a little dirty.
