Just got a quick question, I have 2006 350z wheels and had them painted Gloss Black with a gold pearl in it. Just to the point where in the sun you see a little gold in the black. Do you offer anything like that? What do you think shipping would be from 28083 and what would you charge for 4 wheels? You can PM if you can. Thanks In Advance.

Do you weld up the rashes or just grind it down making the metal thinner?

it depends on how bad the rashes are. The tooling i have is meant to burnish metal down to its original shape / contour. On wheels that aren't curbed too heavily, the rash is sanded back down to the original shape on the lip and polished or touched up there after.. on heavily rashed or chipped wheels the spot is welded up and then burnished back down to shape of the wheel.

Unfortunately matte white isn't offered yet by my distributors. I get all my powder from either Cardinal Finishes, Tiger Drylac or Prismatic who have the best powders / quality in the industry but you have a PM on the gloss white.

Example of heavily damaged wheel repair:

After sandblasting

After initial burnishing

After Welding

After final burnishing

That's good to know, I had a wheel place (that will remain nameless) shave down too much metal the lip had gotten so thin that it had to be replaced.
