Default help choosing tire sizes please

wheels i have are

18x9
18x10.5

i want the tires to be "flush looking".. if that makes sense. i dont like the stretched look, nor do i like the "over-meaty" look

would the following sizes work?

255/35/18
285/35/18

ive got an 04 enthusiast lower on tanabe gf210s

i just wanna make sure these will not mess with the vdc, tcs.. or any of that crap

with a 285 rear i would go no less than 265 front. You can also run a 295 rear is you want. I would probably just run a 275/40 rear with 255/40 front.

I've seen 265/295 and ive also seen 245/275 I feel like 255/285 would be perfect that's why I wanna go with those sizes. My main question is the sizes I mentioned... Will they work fine without any interfering?

To keep your rolling diameters in tolerance,I'd go with a 255/40/18 front,295/35/18 rear
This would give you a meaty tire in the rear that would look great and easily fit your 10.5" rim.Its possible the brand tire you are looking at may not come in these sizes??
