Tire Flare Advice Needed
Over the last few weeks, I have been noticing what feels like worn brake pads in the front of the Z. I have an '04 Enthusiast. I called the dealer and told him that I thought my front pads were worn down. He said bring it in, so I did. Apparently I still have about 70% of my pads left, but the inside of my front tires are starting to flare out. He suggested that I have the front tires rotated by having them removed from the rims and rotated to the opposing rims.
My argument to him was that this 3 month old $30k car should not be doing this with only nine thousand miles, and that Nissan should be doing anything they can to fix it. He said there was nothing he could do, and that I should call 1-800-NISSAN1.
I need advice from people who have dealt with this problem before. What is the quickest way to get Nissan to fix this problem?
Thanks.

tire flare...I'm not familiar with this term, but you may want to check out the 'repair' section of this forum. Look for 'tire feathering', and you may get your answer. It's a frequently discussed topic in this forum, and a headache and mood buster for lots of Z owners.
