Default new tires - Michelin Pilot Sport PS2

My December 2003 edition of Automobile magazine arrived late together with the January 2004 edition.

In any event.. there was a review of the new Porsche Carrera GT with a comment about new tires that were developed ...

The Michelin Pilot Sport PS2... look very promising and better than the Bridgestone S03's.

They are available now in limited sizes... but according to Tire Rack ... more sizes to come out in early 2004.

Here is the Tire Rack link .... read the write-up... very interesting... http://www.tirerack.com/tires/tires....ilot+Sport+PS2

Anybody from Tire Rack care to comment when the 245/35 and 275/35 19 inch configuration will be available ?

This forum is sponsored by Discount Tire. So don't be surprised if they delete this post. They have done some funny things in the past with my posts, which have really angered me. Anyway, I have not heard of these. If the pricing of the Pilot Sports is any guage, these should cost BIG bucks.

Oh, also I don't think The Tire Rack monitors this forum. They are a sponser at freshalloy, they don't monitor much over there either.

I was very satisfied with the older Pilot Sports that I had on my E36 M3. A G35 using Pilot Sports scored higher skid pad cornering numbers than the 350Z. That's another good indication of the tire's merit. If the PS2 is an improvement over the original, it should be worth the wait.

If they're not available by the time I need a replacement for the stock tires, I'll go with the original pilot sports.
