I like em alot more than your last set. Not to say the last set wasn't nice but the Ggames go better with the SS.

You plan on droppin or letting it sit at the current height?

i'll probably be at stock height for a while, being that i'm not willing to spend more money on the z at this moment. but the more dropped z's i see on the forums and at meets, will make me drop it in the future

i think it looks ok at stock height. but i know it'll look better dropped. so i guess i'll start saving for some teins now

i am taking donations $$$ for teins if anyone wants to help out. (j/k)

I agree..the stock height does look good. People who don't own Z's will assume it's dropped and notice that the car is already low. Only Z owners and hardcore car enthusiasts notice the wheel gap.

I'm a sucker for a good looking five spoke wheel, and that's a good looking wheel.

I agree, I actually think that the car looks great at the stock ht, much like a M3 or a 911, Honda's tend to look like 4X4s stock, but the Z looks good, in that the contour of the wheels maintains a constant gap in relation to the wheel well. I actually think that Zs that are lowered more than 1 inch tend to look funny.

More than one inch is a tad bit extreme especially in a car that is already built with a low center of gravity. I kind of like the nimble and agile look of actually being able to stick a piece of paper under the car without getting it stuck. The distance between the wheel and the body has to be able to flux like they do in high end sports cars.

Slamming is great for show cars and track racers but for an everyday street warrior it has to be capable of clearing driveways.

P.S. nice car by the way... for some odd reason you have one of the few Z's that I can't tell whether or not it's dropped or not but it looks good either way. Many people might agree that you're the poster boy for not having to drop the Z and still have it look good!

ya, a lot of people mail me and ask what springs I am running. I guess that in and of itself means it looks low enough

They look great! How do you like the 285 in the back? Also are you running 255 up front?

no i'm running 245 in the front and 285 in the rear. although maybe i should have used the 255 in the front for more cushion, but oh well, next time i guess. so far so good.

thanks steve

not heading down to socal anytime in the near future.
if i do lower the car, i'll probably go with the tein basic coilover. the one that costs $700 or so. but probably not gonna do it now.
unless my best friend is gonna give em to me as a belated x-mas gift.
