Is it possible to have my tires stick out of the fender slightly without getting any wheel rub similar to the "front" tire on the below picture.. I would like that look on all 4 corners and without having the major camber look.. I am after that specific look.. Would I need a stiffer suspension and a certain amount of clearance betwen the tire and fender to make sure I dont rub? No need to lecture me about stones getting flung on my paint..
Im ready to pull the trigger right now on wheels/tires BUT I want that wide body stance look without having the major camber look. Nothing against it, i just dont want it myself..
That car has between -3 and -4 front camber, with low camber in the rear -0.5 to -1.5 , very easy to do. ou just have to have it at the proper height to where the camber curve will pull the tire in a clear as it compesses.
BTW, you could probably ask the owner for more details.
I have a picture of the rear tires on his car too but they are much more recessed and thats not what i want.. I want all 4 corners like the front.. I think that would be a killer looking wide stance..
I have 18" Rays Nismo wheels on it right now (came with the car) with 1" spacers but I want a taller wheel this time.. I had 19's on my last 350z but I may go with 20's this time, still deciding between 19's and 20's..
What size spacers did you use to get that look? I have 20's x8.5 all the way around and i am trying to get that look.
I have 1.25" spacers on all 4 corners but my wheels had horrible offsets to begin with and were tucked way inside the fenders.. I took it for a spin last night and im getting a mild rub in the rear when i hit a big bump so i have to roll my fenders.. Its just barely hitting the inside lip..
What i have learned with both my Z's is that the front needs more spacing than the rear to make them equal so actually i think I would of been better with 1.25" in the front and only 1" in the rear..
