Default First Time Buying Wheels

Okay, so my birthday is coming up in a few days. I am looking into purchasing XXR 522's from nlmotoring.com

I just recently replaced my factory tires with new Michelins Pilot Sport A/S.
Front: 225/45ZR18
Rear: 245/45ZR18

Obviously I want to be able to use these tires on my new wheels. I also want the "staggered look", if at all possible. Weather the rear wheels are wider, have a bigger lip, or stick out a bit further then stock.

What do you guys suggest in the Chromium Black 18in? I dont want to have problems down the road with pre-mature tire wear.. Should I just go with the square setup of 18x8.5 all around? with a +30 offset? Or can i do

Front: 18x8.5 +30
Rear: 18x9.5 +38 to have the "staggered look" with the bigger lip in the back? Problem is will i have issues with that size tire on the 9.5 width wheel?

I appreciate anyones input!

all good!! but the offsets aren't really good....unless you want them to sit where the stock wheels sick...which is a bit sunk! is there a chance for lower offsets?

I'm not going to get into the whole cheap wheels discussion, as that's probably coming from someone else, but I'll advise you to check out that vendor carefully beforehand.

Research, research and research!

There is an entire thread dedicated to the XXR wheel line. You may not find your exact wheel type, but you will be able to see wheel sizes matched up to offsets using the correct tire sizes.

Bottom line, it's difficult to use stock tire sizes on wider, aftermarket wheels. The wheel sizes and offsets you listed will not yield the look you want for your Z. If you want to have an aggressive stanced Z using 8.5"/9.5" sized wheels, you need to choose offsets in the +5 to +15 range. Anything higher than a +15 offset will give you a "sunken in" look.

I'm running 8.5" +11 fronts and 9.5" +17 rears. My fronts sit just about flush and my rears are tucked in by about 5mm. Just an FYI...
