Don't bring track use into the thread and then try to negate it after track use is verified. Not that YOU did that, but you read the post and are fully aware of why I even brought up a track car using them. You too Terra. It's like you guys are arguing just to argue. If you don't like a product, just say that. Easy peasy.

I PERSONALLY know people whom have run them for the last 4 years with no issue...both on the track and off the track. So, my opinion of their quality is based on observation. But, that is all it is...an opinion. OP, do what you want.

Think of this...out of the hundreds of thousands of people who run aftermarket wheels, how many of those do you think have any REAL issue? And of those issues, how many are based on variables that are uncontrollable? We all mod cars and we've all run into a bad part. It's the nature of the beast. We've ALL had a part fail...OEM and Aftermarket. Doesn't mean the product is crap. It could be a lemon part, it could be user error, it could be uncontrollable conditions that would've created the same outcome on anything. But, at the end of the day, RESEARCH YOUR PRODUCT before you put it on. We all have opinions. Mine are biased on the fact that I know too many people with them with no issue. I've actually seen one pair go through 3 or 4 different people. I just help mount a pair 2 weeks ago. 1 month ago, we took a pair off a car just to have him sell the car, buy another car, and buy another pair that we'll probably mount in a few weeks. That type of dealings creates a strong biased which is why my opinion is what it is...but...it is JUST an opinion. Find your own way man. There's enough info out there to do it and do it easily.

I didn't bring track use into the thread in the first place as its irrelevant to impact shock, which is probably the most likely way for a wheel to fail. Its not arguing for the sake of arguing. I was simply pointing out the fallacious reasoning in implying that these wheels being used successfully on a track is indicative of their quality.

True indeed. However, that interjection would have been better received had it been brought up a page ago, when everyone was questioning the wheels' ability to perform on a track and their hesitation with it or any other brand that could not. Allowing that whimsical nonsense, only to counterpoint AFTER data supports that the wheel should have no issues on track duty, makes it seem as though you're just trying to argue for the sake of arguing.

That said, An Audi TT on Rotiforms ran through quite a bit of rough road (as did we all) on the way to Carlisle, from upstate NY, and the wheel had not so much as a scratch.

At deftoneZ...nnnnnnnnnnnnnnnope. They ARE pricey. I don't know WHY but yeah..hella expensive.
