Default OEM 06-08 wheel painted or powdercoated?

Hello,

I have the 5 spoke 06 wheels. I was wondering if they are powdercoated or painted? I have one wheel that is showing discoloration that I want to get fixed. I want to stick with the OEM color hyper silver but a lot of wheel repair shops say it won't be a 100% color match with the other three wheels.

Do not powdercoat those wheels, they like to crack.

I'm confused, are you asking if they are painted or PC'd from the factory?

I apologize for the first post being so brief. Here's more information.

I recently bought four 06 350z wheels. There's a little bit of discoloration on one of the wheels.

Are the wheels painted or powdercoated from the factory?

I have two options I was considering:
1. Get all four wheels professionally painted the same color as the Nismo wheels. Does anyone know what color they are?

2. Get the one wheel repainted or powder coated to match the other three wheels.

Over 2 years with mine powdercoated and no problems. Is this really common? Is there something I should be looking for?

It is a weekend car and I hit up a few autox events a year.

Dont do just one, powder coat all of them.
Ask around for a few shops, you shouldnt have to pay more than $300.

I would love to powder coat mine silver but they came chrome, and im sure the "de-chrome" process is expensive.
