Default Best drag tires?

What kinda tires short of getting slicks would be best for the drag strip? And what size? What pressure should they be when I race?

Thanks,

Chris.

If your talking about drag radials, Id have to say BF Goodrich KDs or Nitto NT555Rs.

As for size, usually bigger the better = more contact patch, but more rotational mass. I doubt a much bigger tire width will make much difference at stock hp. Id say go for somewhere around 275s.

As for tire pressure, going higher minimizes the rolling resistance while going lower reduces the contact patch. Youll have to play around with it untill you get the right pressure for yourself.

If your on a budget, just get them for the rears.

Mickey Thompson ET Streets are pretty good too. a bit more expensive then the nittos though, but worth it.
