anyone else have this problem ? ... i barely got mine and i only torqur them to 90lb and i got the first 5 in and torwue down .. then i went onto the second driver side rear wheel.. and by the foruth i strip the damn thing... wtf is going on here.. and i cant find anywhere to get the key.. only way is me getting a new set of another one.. i expected a set of lug nuts of 300+ bucks would last much more longer....

 

Where did you buy them? If it was a private party of ebay they're probably fakes. Even though I have the fake ones and I have no wear or anything on the key. Maybe the guy I bought them from really had real ones haha

 

I believe the Volks lug nuts are aluminum. It can be pretty easy to strip them. I think torque of 90 lbs feet is too much for the aluminum.

 

Odd since 90lbs is the factory recommended amount to use, Honda/Toyota spec at 80lbs so not really a bug dif there. Not like a truck that calls for 140+, my bet is they are fake from ebay or the OP crossed them up from the get go.

 

if you are talking of the allen key to remove the access cover

yeah happen to me they are not great at all

hey guys sorry i have been busy.. but no.. it not fake it real but jo i am not talking about the allen keys.. i am talkig about the key to remove the lug nut it self.... and i havr problem looking for a new allen key one... and currently i am working with a guy to make that key with a better grade material...and wont be strip as easy a much..anyone recommended how to use it.. i find it extremmely hard and frusteated as 300 dollar lug nut couldn last as long as autozone lug nut... anyonr have any other way ? i order the newer same key at nipponnpower and ebay .. teo of them .. in order to just torque down my wheels so i can drive my car...
