What do you think about 19" on Z?
I want to get some LE37Ts 19x8.5f and 19x9.5r with 22 offset. I was thinking about taking it down to 18". Any opinions or known issues that might help in my decision?
Thanks,
JasZ

Whether you go with 18's or 19's is really a matter of taste. I personally think a 19 looks much better on a Z so that is what I personally went with.
When you choose a wheel, take a close look at your tire option so you can get a tire that is as close as possible to the stock tire heights.
One big thing to consider when getting 19's over 18's is costs. Both the tires and the wheels will cost more than 18's
Also, if weight is a consideration, a 19 will weigh more than the same wheel in 18".
Yet another consideration is road conditions. You need to run a shorter side wall tire on a 19" wheel to keep overall diameter close to stock. This means a slightly harsher ride and less protection against gnarly pot holes.

Thanks for the information. I really like the way the 19" looks too.
Do you really have to keep the overall diameter close to stock. Can't the dealership recalibrate the guages?
What kind of offset did you end up using? I'm afraid that the 22 will cause rubbing.
I live in Houston so there are just tons of potholes everywhere. Really frustrating.
Thanks,
JasZ

Yes, keep the diameter close to stock. Run 245/35 front and 275/35 rear on 19"s. Also, 19s will get damaged much more easily by potholes. So if you buy cast wheels, make sure you steer clear of the potholes. With forged, this is a much lessser issue. Also, finally cost of 19 tires are much more expensive, so just remember tires dont last long on our cars, so that may be an issue.
