Default Question before purchase

I am about to buy some new wheels. From the information ive gathered on here and the available sizes i can get i have decided to go with 18x9.5 front and 18x10.5 rear 255/40 275/40 tire combo. Im not sure whether to go with 15 or 22 offset. Will i have any issues with rubbing and can i get pics of anyone running same set up. I am on stock suspension but plan to lower soon.

i ran a +23 in the front, and +15 in the rear. if you are going to lower it, you will need to roll the rear fenders

Runnin' 18x9.5 +22 up-front, 18x10.5 +18 outback paired with 255 and 275 respectively. Roadster on stock suspension (ride height) and no roll. Very satisfied with the performance and fitment. Front is exactly the profile I wanted, rear has a slight stretch and I'm nowhere remotely close to needing roll. Hell, I could probably run a 285 in my tire of choice and get away with no roll but...that changes the equation (e.g. under-steer consideration and more).

I agonized over the "millimeter math" and had fun doing it but don't kill yourself on this decision, its not that significant. I know what I would chose with those options but you'll have to make the final call. A +22 front and +15 rear would be solid ("think roll" as Trav mentions above when you lower), a +22 f/r would be fine as well. Everyone's build and objectives differ, wheel & tire pairings are unique etc. I'd have no interest in a +15 up-front for example but to each his own.

A s***-load of pics in the archive here...search away and spend time with on-line calculators, they're invaluable. These pics provide some perspective for ya' FWIW (Yes, I've *****'d these pics on other posts) again, 18x9.5 +22 255 front, 18x10.5 +18 275 rear:

I'm running 18x9.5 F (255/40) and 18x10.5 R (285/40), +22 offset on both. Front has Z1 Adjustable FUCA, with camber set at -1.1, and the rear has SPC Adjustable LCA's with camber set at -0.5. The car is lowered on Swift SpecR Springs (1.2F, 1.0R). I plan on getting the front camber at -0.5-0.7 this coming weekend. The front fenders will be fine. The rears need to rolled still. I have the fender roller, just haven't found time yet. Until then I have been taking it easy. But actually as long as I don't have any real weight in the rear they have been fine. The roads here are terrible, and I haven't had any rubbing yet. Thankfully
