Will These Fit?
I'm looking at wheels that are 18x8 35mm (front) and 18x9.5 35mm (rear). The combo comes with 235/40/18 (f) and 265/35/18 (r). Does the rear tire sizing make any sense? All the threads seam to say that a 40 side wall in the rear is the proper sizing, but the salesman is saying that 265/35 is the proper ratio.

The proper sizing is:
245/40/18 front
275/40/18 rear
Remember: the sidewall height is related to two things, the aspect ratio (in this case a 40 and it's relationship to the size (width of the tire, the proper size being 275 for the rears. The cobmo you are looking at is too small, both in width and outer diameter. The rears way too small. This will upset the stagger in the car. Stick with the correct sizes, because they work.
