Default Lift The Car More

Good morning, I want to know what would be the best size of rims and rubber for a 350z, to lift the car and not hit any speed bumps. Or any recommendation you can give me to lift the car more, because it is damaging the front lip.

But seriously.... what's on it now? Is the car lowered? If you're having front clearance problems, I'm going to guess that the existing tires are too short OR, more likely, you need new shocks or springs to keep the front end from porpoising, which could cause lip issues. Seriously, I run stock height tires, car is lowered 20mm and have NEVER had a front lower valance clearance issue and even for the brief time I ran an aftermarket front lip (like the one above), no clearance issues.

Now if you're lame like me and run your front lip over parking stops, causing the paint on the bumper of my other non-Z to crack, well, could be that too. That car hates those parking stops (or me making me run into them.)

PS-Thread moved from "Forum Suggestions" to a more appropriate section.

225/245 40 17 or 18 is stock tire size.
If you're scraping with that size tire it's either lowered or the lip isn't fitted correctly.

The bottom of my Varis lip scrapes bc I'm lowered 1 inch. I got used to it. If the painted surface was getting damaged I might get excited. I believe you have 2 options -
Get used to it.
Install factory spec springs and shocks. Using a taller tire will negatively affect spirited driving, so no.

I have several sets but the tires are consistent...

18x9.5/18x10.5 Both +15mm offset) 245/40-18F, 275/40-18R
19x9.5 +19F / 19x10.5 +9R with 245/35-19F, 275/35-19
19x9 +15F / 19x10 +15R with 245/35-19F, 275/35-19

But never mind the numbers, they're all within 0.25" of each other, that's the key.

Actually, as I looked at that, I was like "Pre-runner Z car! Hell yeah I could totally drive that! Haul my MTBs up the hill and into the wilds!"
