Default Yokohama AVS Sport tires

I want to know what you guys think or have heard about these tires. I just put some on my car and it seems to me that I do not have as much grip with the Yokohamas as I did with my stock tires. On the Yokohama site they're supposed to be ultra high performance...maybe it's my new wheel set up with 9.5 rears and 8.5 fronts. There also seems to be a significant amount of understeer. someone enlighten me...

Funny I just bought two to replace the stock rears today. I only have about 50 miles on them, but my initial impression is they are not as good as stock. The car handles pretty sloppy now. When I make a turn it feels like it takes the rearend takes longer to respond than before. Doing a quick lane change at 60 causes the car to sway back and forth. I am not great a putting to words change, but the car just does not feel as controlled in quick turns like before. I will give them a couple hundered miles before final judgement.

I had the AVS Sports on my 19" Volks. I was pleased with them. They were fairly quiet, handled fine in the rain, and great grip in the dry. I had them for about 1500 miles or so and there wasn't much wear. I would definitely get them again.
