Smile Bounce Gone - Is it Same as Tire Feathering

The bounce in the Z is Gone with new Koni Struts and Shocks

The question is - Does this remedy the Problem of the 350Z eating a set of front Tires in 10,000 miles or less?

Cheers Amy -

I personally have thought all along the two problems were related. That is why most people who have changed shocks ie Nismo S-Tune have solved the problem. Remember it could just be a poor alignment too. Get it checked when you do suspension work.

Check alignment. I think the bounce is related to the Spring and Shock combo vs. the feathering is a camber issue.

Great news John! The bounce was always about the shocks... Nissan just doesn't want to admit it. ..not sure about the tire feathering tho. B/C I have never had any feathering issues even when I had stock suspensions.
