Nah......I'm basically a very mellow guy. I just don't want to see anyone get screwed like so many others have. I don't think a leopard can change its spots. What went on between myself and IForged goes far beyond bad customer service. I only wonder how many other bad experiences go unreported by people who do not use forums of this type.

I've had two sets of Volks on my Z.....both have been flawless. No defects, no cracked welds, no peeling clearcoat, no fitment issues, no nuthin'. Perfect wheels, perfect service. That's the kind of peace of mind I want for my money. I don't think anyone should have to put up with less when you spend $2500 or more for some new shoes.

It's a long story, and the only important thing that came out of it was that people should be very careful with these guys. PM me if you want the details.

I imagine a gold color would look similar to Mr B's DTM Kreuz wheels. There's no pictures of that finish on IForged website.

Moog, did a quick hunt and found these Iforged Senekas in Gold.....seems to lean more towards the mustard side of gold rather than the lite colored gold we've seen on the Volk's and what not....... hope this helps.

Tough to tell with the lighting, wether or not it's the color to compliment your PPW....would probably look good, but I'm sold on the lighter gold colors for PPW. You could always go with a custom color and have a set that noone has.......good luck with the promotion.

Well, mine ship today and I'm pleased so far......

DrDrilz, do you have any pictures to post for Moog of the Race Gold Iforged....as asked by the originator, or do you insist on making this thread a praise vs. bash on iforged thread as has already been addressed? ..... Moog has already stated that he has read tons of Pros and Cons on iforged and is basically considering doing the same thing I did,.......giving them a shot.

unless anyone has pics or can assist with the intent of this thread, we are effectively wasting bandwith. Post the Rants and Raves in one of many iforged related threads and let's keep this thing on track.

On the one customer note. I can not comment on an issue that is not a customer of ours - But It is my understanding that that kit was built quite a while ago.

Bashing a vendor is not a smart practice. Personally if a custom has an issue withthe manufacturer and ordered direct form the manufacturer - you should take it to the manufac turer directly. Trying to work an issue like that publically will create a Lose-Lose situation.

On structural integrity - we have seen no issues on the 12 sets we have delivered since January.

Regards

Hmmm...yeah the Supra's gold color is a bit too dark for me. I hope that's different from the race gold iForged posted, because it does look different. I might go w/ the race gold, or maybe something a tad bit lighter like the Volk noble gold.

Would it be hard to match the volk noble gold color or get something close to it?

The supra gold was a custom paint gold code supplied by the customer. The other pictures are of our race gold finish.

I'm not a big fan of gold wheels. Only look right on WRX's and late '70's Trans Am's with the matching gold screamin' chicken on the hood.

Good luck on your choice of wheel, color, style, and manufacturer. It's your time and money. As long as you are happy in the end, that's all that counts.
