Just called Axis Headquarters in CA. They told me that they have a delivery confirmation for the Hiro's and they will have the container tomorrow. Sounds positive, but you never know.

Oh, no, look out, looks like people are being lied to, and it continues. Bad customer service, lies, lack of communication, lack of details, no call backs, etc..... where is Customer Service wheel police.

I have heard similar issues with other brands (HRE, Volk/mackin, iForged), but so far iForged is the one that gets trashed the most. Interesting.

woah i didn't know iforged had a bad rep... they build such nice rims! i would've expected killer customer service (as the price would seem to indicate)

I tried the same, with wheelstudio, and was able to speak with someone briefly. I tried to have someone call me back with some details like, what kind of tire they put on and stock positions of different wheels and never got called back..Oh, when you bring up My350z.com you feel stupid because of the silence on the other end, then "Oh, ok". I have never tried to spend $2500 so hard in my life. I finally found someone that calls back, speaks in english (not like your 15, yo!), and has great prices.. PM me if you want details, I dont want anyone complaining that i'm advertising for someone. I think i'm getting some hiro's... Gotta get the hall pass from the wife..

22" wheels??? on a car? I think 19s are as big as anyone should go on a 350/G35c, 22" would look absurd.

Those offsets are sweet though, I'm jealous now. I could have had those wheels in a perfect offset for less than my Axis Supermesh. Oh well, I'm happy.

Ok, I have a stupid question.... What do these offsets mean? Isnt there just one kind that will fit? If not which one do i buy? Does the lip get bigger with different offests? I read the post on offsets but still confused. Someone please help...

hahaha zeroday... i feel for you man

but what i heard... from the guy on the phone from Axis headquarters in Cali was that the hiros would be, and I quote, "arriving in 3 weeks or so"...

... BUT there's always a possibility that he could be trying to help the PR situation by not promising something sooner

pearl430 - what offsets will you be running?

as far as I know, the 18x8.5 will be +35 offset... i originally wanted to run 18 fronts and 19 rears but changed my mind after finding this out...

This explains some wheel basics.

http://www.needforspeed.co.uk/htmlpages/TechWheels.htm

Basically, a lower offset number means that it's going to push the wheel edge further out away from the car, hence making it more flush with the fender well. If you go too far you will risk rubbing problems and also can cause camber problems as you are pushing the weight of the wheel further out.
