Default Using a small rubber

for my wheels? 19x8.5, 19x9.5

I'm debating whether 245/40/19 and 255/40/19 will work on this wheel setup, without looking strange

I'd normally go with 255/35/19 and 275/35/19, but the price Toyo t1-s in this size in Canada is about 1900... or 1500 US. After spending more than 2k on my wheels, and the Z still suffering from feathering... i want to reduce my expenses by going with a cheaper tire setup

mind you I won't be tracking my car with this, and it's purely for easy daily driving

any thoughts??? please

btw i did the math and it comes out to about a 0.7 inch increase in height in the front, and a 0.3 inch increase in height in the back

oh and the recommended rim widths are:

1. 8-9.5 for the 245/40/19
2. 8.5-10 for the 255/40/19

so i'm within spec... i'm just worried it'll raise my car up and make it unsightly since this will be daily driven

I haven't heard of anyone using 255 on a 9.5 rim. I have 275 for the 9.5. How about getting a different brand tire instead, that will save more money.

ttsupra: the least expensive tire made in 275/35/19 is the Toyo t1-s

many brands make a 275/30/19... but i've seen pics and it looks too small IMO
