Use your car wash soap/water and a rag on your wheels. This is the safest thing for the finish and will cause the least amount of scratches. Im assuming your lips are clear coated in which case you can treat them just as you would your paint. Be VERY careful when washing the lip that no small pebbles get under your washrag or whatever you end up using to clean it. You will get some nice long scratches and will be kicking yourself for days.

You may want to put a coat of your favorite car wax/polish on the lip also. It will help protect it, make it easier to clean in the future, and of course give it a nice blinging shine!

Between washes? You will want to be careful when brushing off brake dust so you dont scratch your wheels up. Another member said he sucessfully was able to brush off the dust between washes with a swiffer (sp?) without scratching the wheels. I personally have not tried this.

Your best bet is to probably replace your brake pads with a low dust pad. Its a losing battle trying to clean off the dust that the stock pads produce. My Hawk HPS pads are sitting downstairs and waiting to be installed You can pick some up at tirerack.com
