It adds rotational mass and overall weight MR-LIGHTWEIGHT. Not to forget expensive tires, harsher ride, prone to more rim bending, etc...

On a G if can definetly be done, not sure on the Z though but anything over a 20 i think is a bit overboard

I'm sure you can fit them on there, but you might have to modify the fenders.

you are going to go over the stock diameter with a 21" rim I believe, screw up the speedo.Ive actually never heard of 21" rims either. 20", 22" , 24" maybe they are new though?

21" rims are out there but not many, I think giovanna has a 21" wheel and maybe a couple other companys. The tire price for 21's are insane i think like $550 each

this isnt a truck...20s are very large on a sports car if you really need to do 21s be my guest but its not worth the hassle just to have one extra inch of metal and less rubber.

Who's making fun of you. I have no problem with the 'profilers' of the world. If blings your thing, more power to ya. I'm just glad to see people taking an interest in their cars.
And PoWeRtRiP is right. This ain't a truck...

Damn, leave the man be! People were jumping down people's throats not so long ago when someone inquired about 20s.

That said, a 21" won't fit without fender mods, but it could work. A 21" is a tough find anyway; most companies make 20s, then step up to 22s.

if you want a staggered look do a 19 front and a 20 rear with a fat lip now that might look pretty nice.

I'm a firm believer that there is a line between a car being a car or a car-toon. A lot of 'enthusiasts' out there think that, by example, if 20's are good, 22's must be better! Just ask any tool cruising around in a 26" wheeled Cadillac 'Slade. Proper wheel to body proportion flies right out their chrome tinted window. It'd be nice to see some of these nice people exercise some self- restraint but who am I to judge.
Ok- I'll turn my soap-box over to someone else now.
