Is the tire feathering issue seen only in 2003 models or in 04 as well? Am considering a Z -- OK, I'm really hot for the car -- but I don't want to deal with new front tires every 3000 miles.

 

I had feathering on my 04 after 8000 miles. Dealer fixed it and has not returned after additional 4000 miles. To be safe I changed my suspension to the NISMO S-tune. The car handles amazing and rides much better. Even though the spring rates are stiffer, the valving on the shock is better tuned.

When you get the Z (YES YOUR ARE BUYING IT, I KNOW YOU WANT IT) request the dealer check the alignment and get a before and after print out. They should do this for free because it will save you and them a hassle in the end. Not to mention they get money for receiving inspection or could warranty it off.
