work wheels are phucking nice... if anyone knows about wheels and not some bling bling no name brands... well gotta give it up! i got Racing Hart CR gunmetal 19x8.5f and 19x10r.... and a friend of mines have the work Work Meister S1 on a G35coupe... they looked sicked in real life... sick as in nice..

FAUCK americas tire company!!! they dont know how to mount tires on an aftermarket wheel for shiet. they always put the dish of the wheel in the clamp to mount the tires (this happened to me w/ 3 different sets of wheels that were very expensive). they ruined my blitz 03's i had like 4 years ago and had to buy me a whole new set. DONT EVER GO TO A TIRE SHOP THAT DOESNT HAVE EXPERIENCE W/ AFTERMARKET WHEELS.

i agree... i had a set of c2's that i took to get tires unmounted.. faukers layed the face in the clamp and scratched up thw whole thing.
NEVER GO TO SOMEONE WITHOUT EXPERIENCE... AND EVEN SPENDING 5 BUCKS MORE CAN SAVE YOU A LOT OF HEADACHES.
i am using TWS by my house in walnut, ca .. i can recommend these guys anytime. ask for sander.

i actually prefer specialty shops over the dealers almost everytime. except warranty issues of course.. but when it comes to rims.. i could only imagine what they would charge to mount a rim.
the only good thing is if they f-up. they can afford to replace it.
that is why forums like this one are great.... we can always ask for suggestions for shops around us... and recommendations from these forums are always an added value.

Whew, I just spoked to my wheel supplier today, thank god they can get me a valve stem this thursday, or latest this Friday. Got to call American Tires to reimburse me that valve stem. It's cost $25.00 each.

yeah, I just called American Tires. They are willing to paid for the valve stem. The manager there is really cool about it. Well, I think I will let them mount the tire, only if the manager is the one doing it. (which I am sure he is the one that will be doing it by now)
you know, back then that particular American tire were really good with aftermarket wheels. Most of techs there has fixe up Hondas and imports, but the day I was there. None of them are there. I guess it's my bad luck that day. Anyway, Hope everything will be solve this time.

I am thinking about getting RS-R Ti lower springs. what do you guys think???

i guess it depends on how low you wanna.. i was considering the tanabe springs myself. then i thought how tired i was of the spring cutting days.. so i got the basics...
dont get me wrong.. the tanabe was low enough for me.. i just wanted the option of raising the car as well..

I was considered either to get Tein Basic, or RS-R ti2000 or down spring. However, I am worry that RS-R is not low enough. I know it's lowered aroun 0.6 inches both front and rear, which is about 1 finger.
I don't want to get camber kit, but I want my Z to look good with my aftermarket wheels.
I checked all spring rate, manufacturing process, and performance. It seems that RS-R ti2000 suits me the best. The only thing is I dunno 0.6 drop is good enough for me.

yeah.. i look into all those factors.. another reason i went with the tein basic was the chances of blowing out my stock shocks later on. because eventually with lowering springs they will go out faster than normal.
i remember i always wanted things to look a certain way, right away. like cutting springs back in the day. now i say you might as well do it right so you only have to do it once.
i think www.optionimports.com has them for 725 right now.
ask for mike.. he'll let you know the price and availibitlity. they do pickup..then can get a bunch of other parts as well.. and they are real local to me and pretty close to others in the socal area.

hmmm... if youre worried about the ride height, y dont you just go with a coilover system? you can adjust the height to whatever you want, you dont have to worry about shocks (if they ever blow the companies usually refill them for you for free), and installation is easier. there are many different types of coilovers out there (hks, tein, zeal, gab, jic, etc.). for installation i would recommend 2 places:
1.)west end alignment in gardena/l.a. (right when 91 west ends). daryn, who owns the shop, is a japenes dude that knows his shiet. he will install, corner balance, and align your car. you just have to make an appointment with him in advance.
2.)super autobacs in stanton/garden grove. axel, who worked on my car, installed my suspension in 3 hours with adjustments (the dude know what he's doing with 350's). kinda pricey, but you get the comfort of going to a big shop (kinda like going to a dealership).
