for the winter, has anyone slapped on winter tires on their stock 18" performance wheels?

if so, what tire size would be best for this, whilst allowing VDC to function decently?

my current winter setup is black steelie wheels, 16", with toyo G02plus 215/60/16's on front and back. seems to work ok with VDC.

so if i'm going to put winter tires on the stock 18's, would something like a non-staggered front/rear 225/45/18 work?

(i'm assuming front and rear wheels are both 8" width)

the reasoning is, the black steel wheels look like garbage on the Z. i rarely drive in the winter but when i HAVE to, i'd like to at least drive in style
