Here's a pic a week after the springs were installed (I adjusted the brightness and contrast so you can see the gap better). They did settle a bit lower (0.2") a few weeks after but you can see there's quite a bit of clearance.

I think your 285/30 compare to my 275/35 really makes a big difference, I think if u go with 35 or if you lower more you will rub for sure.

If one did not want to lower the ride height of their Z, would you be able to get the type Flex w/ EDFC and not buy new springs too? I mean, only buy shocks, which I wouldn't think would have any effect on the stance? Sorry again, (kudos again to crayons) and thanks.
All the coilovers come with shocks and springs, but if you want to just get shocks, u can get Koni, they r the only one i know that make shocks only. But whats the point? you dont like stock shocks? I dont really see a point unless you going to lower your car.

Thanks everyone for the great compliments, especially from all the members who have TE's and LE's on their car too . I'll be waiting to do my suspension as soon as I get this $3k debt off my credit card, rah..

Oh and Justin, glad I could persuade you .

Well, after a month and a half of waiting, I've finally discarded my 17" Enthusiast wheels for some Volk Silver LE37T's, +22 all around wrapped in Toyo's . I really wish I could have captured a quick movie of these wheels in motion since the polished lip against the darker silver spokes gives a nice effect.. but I couldn't find any mirrored buildings for you guys.

A quick thanks for my350z.com sponsor 350zOnlineStore, they gave me an AWESOME price for wheels + tires shipped (including center caps and lugs!). PM me if you want to know since I doubt if I'm allowed to advertise .

Hope these come out okay!
