845s--they're my favorite of the three.

So now its down to the 845, and the 847, its such a tough decision but i think ill be happy with whatever set i go with. Thanks again guys for the suggestions.

many ppl have aeros and gtc's because they are nice....not ONCE have i even seen a Z or G with these wheels (while driving)

they may be common on this forum but it shouldnt stop you from getting them

i happen to like the iforged design better than the 845's anyway...gtc's with face 2 in front and back would also be killer

good luck with your decision...brushed is a nice finish but i got sick of mine and they are getting powdercoated black

if you get hre's make sure you absolutely LOVE them

Those look awesome, how do you like them? Also why did you decide to go 18's if you dont mind me asking? How long did it take to have them made and sent to you, and what company did you go through to get them?

Thanks for the compliment. I am very pleased with my choice, and HRE offers excellent customer service.

I decided on 18's for performance, ride and because I'm a little wary of too narrow a sidewall on larger wheels. 19's and 20's weigh more, and these are heavy enough as is. The ride quality is still very good and I don't worry so much about damage to the wheels due to a narrow sidewall.

It took about 4-5 weeks from the time I ordered for them to reach my door. I bought them from Paul at Avalon Racing, a Sponsor/Vendor on this board.

If you intend to upgrade to a big brake kit in the future, be sure to let HRE know in advance. If you don't know already, this series of HRE's has an inboard valve stem...so large calipers can pose a problem if not accounted for from the start. hth

You cant go wrong with any. HRE is awesome, I personally went with the 546R.
For you, I would lean towards the 847R

Good Luck!
Tony

Yeah, it's a difficult decision. Here's another shot of the 845's just to make it easier on you.

If you are not going to go with bigger brakes, you may want to consider going with a wider spoke to fill the emptyness that you will see with a thinner spoke like the 4 series. I do not intend on doing bigger brakes, that is why I went with the 5 series. The spokes are a little wider, and you dont see the rotor as much.
The 845 has a slimmer spoke like the 4 series.
The 847 might also leave too much emptyness.
The 841 will look good.

In that case, go with as slim a spoke as possible. Show off those brakes.
Any will look great!

350ZCJC...make sure that you inform HRE of your intention to install the 14" big brake kit. My rear valve stem did not clear my calipers and had to be ground down...still cannot get a valve stem cap on any of the valve stems due to very tight clearance issues. They were installed in late March '04 and HRE is still working to address this problem. Hoping to have a shorter valve stem soon. I agree with DURSO, you can't go wrong with any HRE product.

Thanks for the advice ill probably go through avalon racing to get them, and ill work out all the details with them. I have to agree with you and DURSO HRE is really a great product i have heard nothing but positive remarks about them. I had a set of Iforged on my M3 and although everything went smoothly the lip and centers seemed to chip very easily.(brushed finish) and the lip tarnished really bad. Hopefully i wont have the same problem with HRE's but i dont think it will be a problem. I think im really starting to lean with the 841's, now if i could only decide which body kit to do now!

As good as those 845's look ive pretty much decided to go with the 20" brushed 841's. The reason why is because a lot of people have 5 spoke's on the Z, and i havent seen any split 7 spoke wheels on it. So ill be putting my orden in in a week or two. Thanks a lot guys for the help!
