I got nail in my left front tire
it is almost close to inside sidewall
I put only 4000kms on this toyo tire
here are the questions
If I have to replace the tire, is it ok to replace only one tire that got nail in it?
and is it safe to drive with nail in it like just few days?
since I put only 4000kms on this tire, I want to repair it if I can, but
I don't want my beautiful Volk rims to be scratched and don't want to take
risk of safety incase it is not fixed properly.
What's the best thing to do for me??

Some people will patch it close to the sidewall, and some won't. Just ask the tire shops around there if they can patch it and make sure you go to a shop that specializes in aftermarket rims and has a good tire mounting machine that won't scratch the lip. I wouldn't recommend riding on it for very long. It won't take long and you will get a slow leak that will leave you with a flat eventually. If you aren't losing air though, it might not have punctured the inside of the tire, you could try taking the nail out yourself and hope.

 

I actually have gotten 2 screws in the same tire, and both are near the sidewall. Haven't been able to find a shop that would patch them.

 

Considering you have rims that aren't cheap, i'd just replace the tire.

 

yeah. i had 2 holes in 2 tires in 1 weeks.
Goodyear F1 GS-D3s... Tires had 8k miles.
Brought tires all around town to fix it. No luck.
Performance tires are not easy fix tires like regular passanger tires. Replace em and try not to cry.
