This topic has been talked to death. Most who upgrade wheels prefer 19". I am in the minority, I prefer 18s. I went from stock 18s to Nismos 18s. I couldn't be happier with my decision. IMO, the ride is noticeably better, and the car handles better. I have 8.5" up front with 245/40 and 9.5" in back with 275/40 Dunlop SP9000.

I agree with you, Lou. 18's are the best choice. They generally cost less, the tires cost less, they generally weigh MUCH less (better for handling, braking and acceleration), and the ride is better.

This question has been *burning* me for quite some time now. Take a look at RugratCoupe's G35 with 19" LM-GT4s and H+R spacers:
This, in my opinion, is how a G35 should look.
Nice, huh?
The fronts are 19x8.5s and the rears are 19x9.5s. They weigh 17lbs and 19.5lbs respectively. I love the look of the 19s, and they don't weigh too much. I am just concerned about handling and traction....sigh
