I need to know if i should go with the Toyo G02+ or the LM 22's winter tires.
I'm in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada and would love some opinions.
The Toyo's are half the price, and some people tell me even better than the LM22's.
I'm really confused and want to buy some within the next days to come.
Can anyone point me in the proper direction?
Thanks

I'm in the same boat...
I didn't know Toyo even made winter tires??
I was looking at the Pirelli 210's and LM22's. Sizes in 235 and 245/50/17's, at $215 and $187 from TireRack.
I would be interested in the Toyo's too at half the price and no preformance sacrificed.
HELP...?

Heres a reply from another board Quicksilver...its good news considering the Toyos are half the price also...also Chicago almost has the same type of winter weather as Ottawa:
"btw I have toyo g02 +... they're great... poor traction in the dry but they bite really hard through slush, snow and ice... I didn't have any traction problems at all (but you still need to be careful... although... well... there were a few times on the highway when i was passing SUVs)
anyway I drove about 4500 kms last winter on the toyos through about 4.5 months and they were great... no signs of wear either
i have these mounted on 16" alloys... they look OK for the winter... better than steelies IMO
anyway if you get the toyo's you won't be disappointed... ottawa winters are even more harsh than TO so i think they will serve you well "
