Hearing about this is a lil offputting for me. I wanted the T1-S tires for my 19" Volks.

This is my driving habit:
1) Daily driven
2) Barely races (seldom)
3) Once in awhile redline fun...

I thought these tires would be grippy because the RE40s crap
out too easily when launching.

Any recommendations on something that's grippy, livable, and
fits 19x9.5 and 19x10.5 wheels?

not sure what you were expecting honestly....no pure street tire is going to behave very well on the track....none. We ran T1S on the Speed car last year by madatory rules....they were surely a limiting factor. Things are MUCH better this year with the RA1's, though I still vastly prefer the Hoosiers we run on the ITS car. Simply put, they kick major booty on our car with our driver (325 is, very aggressive driver)

Tires are a HIGLY subjective matter...what one person loves, another hates. It has everything to do with suspension setup (not the parts you have but how its set up), and driving style
