Question 256 35 18

hey I was wondering if 265 35 would mess up the vcd if i ran them in the back and ran stock in the front.

And also Im thinking about powdercoating my rims Black and leaving the tiny lip a lighter color or polished if possible. do you guys think it would look good?

265/35/18 is a bit too short for the rear, and may cause the VDC/ABS to activate pre-maturely... You could always disengage those for aggressive driving/track. A better rear size is 275/35/18 (closer to stock height).

On a side note, you will hate the handling of the car with a wider rear tire, and the stock 225 front tire... It will cause the car to understeer like crazy! not recommended.

I have thought of painting the Rays Track wheels also, but the ones I have seen where not too impressive... I don't know if it has enough of a lip to polish and not look too funky

265/35 will be very short on the rear...

its hard to powdercoat and leave a small lip... we havent been able to powdercoat rims and leave a lip yet.. it has to be machined

by machined you mean I would have to grind the powdercoat off after it is applied to the rim?
