i order volk sf challenge(gunmetal) from them because no body has them instock, i was told that they will get them instock mid sept, guess what sept is almost over and no rims and tiers plus they charge my credit card. one thing that **** me off is i send him email and he never reply, winter is just around the corner yes i live in canada. anybody order anything from them and should i be worry?

I didn't think Discount Tire Direct could get Volks, but I know that I ordered special order Volks and was told 3 months and 4 months went by and they still didn't get them. I then decided to go with an instock color. Volk is way behind in Japan. I would call whoever you ordered from.

 

Acutally I think Mackin Industries (U.S. Distributer of RAYS wheels) is just slow. RAYS doesn't even take that long to build custom colored, sized wheels. It's just that it is slow on the U.S. end, Mackin Industries.

 

Yeah it probably is Mackin. I just know that mine haven't even shipped from Japan yet, I figured Volk/RAYS shipped them to Mackin in the US. But I guess that Volk/RAYS might give them to Mackin and then they have to ship them to the US and distribute them. Bottom line is if the volks you ordered were not instock at Mackin in the US, then you might be waiting awhile.
