Jester It looks like we have the identical setup. Good Taste.
Anyway have you looked into lowering the Car. The front looks like it will be no problem. What do you think about the back with the wheel and tire combo that we picked?????? One of my installers said it will be no problem. The other installer said if I wanted to lower should have gone with a 30 series tire. Anyone????? Thanks

Funny, your car is the one that inspired me to go with Diamond Black. I was set on mercury silver until I saw your car. Thanks for the kind words.

I did not have to roll fenders. In the pics the Car is Stock Height. I lowereed the car using Hotchis springs about a week later and to me the ride height is perfect. The Hotchkis springs lower the car approx .75 in back and 9/16 if front if I remember right. This eliminates the small ammount of wheel gap. The ride is much better and just about all of the chop or bouncing is gone. I have noticed with the setup when the TCS is on the system seems to go into slip a little more and sooner than stock. When I want to get on it I usually turn TCS off anyway.

Vendors keep telling me that 275 or maybe 285 is the largest rear size tire width I can use without having to roll/cut the fender/well. Said if I hit a bump the back will bottom out into the wheel well...
I have an LS 350Z and I too want the diamond black SF challenges, I was thinking 19x8.5 front with 255/35r19 and 19x9.5 rear with 285/30r19. This sound about right? I have no clue on offset. I notice you guys using 9.5 fronts and 10.5 rears. I wonder which looks better, 255/35r19 on the front with 8.5 or 9.5 inch wide rims? I hate when the tire curves inward off the rim, looks like you had to "stretch" the tire to fit the rim, or like you were too cheap to buy tires wide enough to fill up the rim.

I haven't seen that actual combination myself but I've seen alot of light silver cars with black wheels/polished lip. It makes the wheels stand out and the car even more "brilliant" looking with the silver sheen.
I was going to go DB on my Silverstone to bring out the dark shade of grey more but I wussed out and went with Gunmetal instead.
