I'm worried about potholes. Any milano owners have issues or dents from potholes? They are 19's an I'm concerned they might bend easier then a higher quality wheel such as the Volk LE37T

The good thing about the 350z is the tire profile requiered to look good & work well on the car. Its not like throwing 19s on a civic or similar vehicle that would use a 215/30/19 tire wich has much less sidewall profile than what we run. So were a tad safer than those that you hear the horror stories from. Not to say the wheel cannot be damaged, the larger the pothole naturally the more damage your rim can sustain. Fortunately I'm in florida where the roads are nice w/o potholes much in terms of road damage, truthfully that may have swayed my opinion of 19" wheels if the road conditions weren't up to par!

Thumbs up Axis Milano's

Great wheel I have a set on my Z, but for the money Maya DTS's are forged and the real deal. If your looking to buy a quality wheel go with Maya, I own the Axis wheels and they are copies of the DTS's.

I'm trying to find more info about the Hiro also--weight and more details about construction. Especially the weight. No details yet from the company (email sent last night).

Does anyone out there have pictures of Anthracite Hiros on Redline? I have yet to find a picture of it... I have seen them in silver, but not the darker color...

axis wheels are not volks, but the quality is unbeatable for what many consider a "budget" rim

I've hit *many* potholes here in Toronto where I stepped out of the car thinking for sure that I had bent my rims and they've come out completely unscathed

as far as clear coat/lip quality, it all depends on how wheel you maintain your wheels... I for one dust my wheels off with a cali car duster and coat it with CG every time I wash my car... after about 8 months, they still look brand new (despite, as I mentioned earlier, hitting potholes and driving through muddy/rocky terrain)

Nice looking wheel, and not bad at all for the price. If it can handle a few potholes, that's a good indicator of its strength.

I'm still trying to find out how much an 18" and a 19" weigh. Any solid numbers?

25lbs front, 26lbs rear

as for potholes... to be honest, it hasn't just been a few :P... i once hit a pothole so hard my briefcase (sitting in the passenger seat) bounced up and nearly flew out the window (no joke)

again, they're not volks but for what you pay for, I dont' think you can find better

Sounds like you should stay off the Hummer testing grounds.
