Yeah but the 255/35 is taller than the tires he already bought for the rear so he needs 30's up front

I'm not gonna trash anyone's wheel/tire choices but 20 inch wheels on a non matching setting set of rubber has to be brutal as far as performance is concerned.

Explain how different brands front and back are brutal on preformance and what do 20's have to do with it.

20' wheels are bad for performance because, first of all, they are heavier. They are harder to turn because of rotational mass and harder to stop because of the same reason. Tires are designed to work together as a set. Different tread patterns and compounds do not work as well, especially in bad weather. Don't get me wrong, I like how the larger sized wheels look as well, but there is a defiinite trade off. When is the last time you heard a winning race team thank Goodyear for the front tires and Michelin for the rears.

Help me find some that are equally the same for the rear and front. 255/30/20 in front and 285/30/20 in the rear. Send me a link if possible..

I just bought a set. BF Goodrich KWD NT. They come in 255/30 or 265/30 and 285/30. The front diamenter for the 255 is 26.1 and the 265 is 26.3 and rears are 26.8. I paid $1,215.00 for the set.
