I'm surprised too. Unfortunately, I've been getting offers for $900, $1,000, $1,100. These aren't Rotas guys. I could change my asking price to $1,900 and then you can lowball me down to $1,500 if it makes you feel better, or you can just pay me $1,300 picked up / $1,450 shipped.

To everyone who says they wish they were local:

Even my shipped price should be lower than what you will find locally. If it's a matter of trust, ask a local 350Z member to come check them out for you, or PM me for a list of references. I'm sure you'll find that I'm more than reputable. =)

Unfortunately, I've still been receiving low ball offers from people that want me to hand deliver the wheels and go down on the price by $500. =( I guess it's a tough time of year, but hopefully the Evolution forum will help. I actually have a very high feedback score on that forum (search my screen name on www.evolutionm.net), but I am no longer allowed to post wheels for sale because I sold too many sets as an individual without being a vendor. I sold about 5 sets a year for the last 6 years, and I guess they thought I should have to pay their $300/mo sponsor fees.

Just do it! Seriously, I'm sure they will look good, and if you don't end up liking them, you can always powder coat them to your favorite color, and you'll still come out ahead. I am pretty sure that now that the holidays are over I will sell these wheels quickly.

To those who thought "something is fishy," nothing is fishy. I had posted these wheels weeks ago, and mostly I was only receiving low-ball offers. I went out of town for the holidays, and while I was out of town I didn't think it would be worth it to check this forum, since none of the offers had been serious.
