Right now I really need some cash so I'm looking to trade my RPF1's for OEM wheels plus cash. I'm only looking for OEM V2 18's (2006+) or OEM Track Wheels + ~$1000 Cash, depending on your tires.

I'm a wheel ***** and ready for a change already, so I'm looking to trade my RPF1's.

18x9.5 +15 w/ 275/35/18 Nitto NT555
18x10.5 +15 w/ 295/35/18 Michelin PS2

The front tires have around 60% tread on them, the rears have about 30%.

The wheels are in great condition but there are a few small things here and there. One of the stickers has a small piece of it missing. There are a few tiny nicks here and there and one tiny curb spot on a front rim that's about 1/2 inch long (not even noticeable it's so light). And a few of the spokes on one of the rear wheels have some very small dents in the back of the spokes, not sure how that happened.. also not noticeable unless you're really looking for them. Overall, these are in extremely great shape for used wheels! Of course I can get more detailed pics of each wheel if needed.

These wheels are great for the track obviously as they're super light. Even though the rear wheels and tires are much bigger than stock, they still weighed 7 lbs less per corner than the stock wheels and tires! I felt a definite increase in acceleration after installing these.

I cannot really sell them outright because they're my only wheels. And this is something I want to do in person since shipping wheels with tires is so expensive. However, I *might* be able to buy a set of stock wheels locally if you have enough cash.

Well, you are allowed to ask whatever the hell price you want to ask for an item when your post meets the forum's rules (which it does). I do agree that you are asking a bit too much though (wheels are $1400 shipped when new, and you have bald rear tires).

Regardless, I'm confused about what you are looking for. At least once you say, "I'm only looking for OEM V2 18's (2006+) or OEM Track Wheels + ~$1000 Cash, depending on your tires", then go on to indicate other wheels as options?

I'd clean up the ad to make it more clear, and maybe reconsider the pricing while you are at it. I suggest that because I have a set of V2 wheels to trade, but we are F A R on the trade costs.

 

Right, I changed the post.. before I was looking for other trades. That's why the text is grayed out... and the important text is bold.

The rear tires are not bald though, I would say they still have 1/3 their life left, at least. PS2's wear pretty fast and don't come with much tread from the start. They're performance tires and cost over $400 per tire.

I want to stress that I'm not looking to ship these wheels, period, unless somehow I manage to pick up a set of stockers locally and then sell these here AND the buyer pays all shipping costs. I only posted this thread here to get more attention. The last set of wheels with tires I shipped cost me $250 and those were smaller wheels. Trading wheels across the country would be ludicrous.

Lastly, the price is a little flexible. I'm just tired of lowballers so I say start high and let them do their thing. ;-)

Anyways, I will probably end up just keeping these, which is no big deal to me. My consumer surplus is pretty high, hence the high price. But if anyone is in the market for RPF1's and has some stock wheels that they're looking to offload at the same time, a mutually beneficial deal could certainly be worked out. I think this wheel/tire package is easily worth $1500, and I see people on this forum struggling to sell V2's for $600 with good tires.. so again, I think my price is quite fair. $1000 to upgrade from stock wheels and tires to a performance setup of this caliber is a very good deal, again in my opinion. Sure you could buy new, but again, that would cost you about twice as much.. and then you would be stuck trying to sell your stock wheels (if you chose to).

i do have set of 18' rays track wheels with over 70% thread left.. with yokohoma adavan tires... how much extra cash would u be looking for on top? they r currently on my 240. its not a clear pic.. but here u go

i would do track wheels + 600... track wheels r def worth more then stock ones thats for sure.
