I really like those wheels and would buy............ they don't seem to match up with gs2's and Spirit's. Why does it have 6 screws between the spokes and not 5 and why aren't the screws flush? I don't think Spirit's are made with a chrome barrel?
I honestly do not know that much about these wheels. They were acquired in a trade..
They don't have chrome barrels though. They're unfinished barrels, so just bare metal.
If anyone could chime in? Possibly another version of the spirits?
Somethings amiss..
here are genuine Spirit wheels..5 screws which are flush:
Also..notice the *notch* for the valve stem. Around that notch are STAMPED MARKINGS...not present on OP wheels.
Pic on 370Z..notice *notch for valve stem and hint of stamped markings there.
Your wheels:
Also note the the ends of the spokes seem to *flatten* at the very end...the pic of genuine wheels shows no flattening there. The curves in the tops of the genuine spokes are not as *arched* (more squared off) as yours are. Not sure if the sunken center is a design variation, but it's not on the genuine wheels above. No *notch* (or stamped markings) on yours either.
I think I pretty much demonstrated these are probably not genuine.
I don't know what other feedback could do to convince me otherwise.
Unless you can somehow produce proof that a much *cruder* wheel was
produced at one time in the past?
