The lip in the rear is 5 inches. The width in the rear is 10.5 The smallest I would recommend on tires is 245/35/19 and 275/35/19. That might still be too wide for your GS. Anything smaller would stretch a lot. I have GT-S with the tires I have stated here. It streches a bit. Wished I had the sizes OP has.
