Put in a new 02 for the HKS AFK a week or two ago. Been driving her back and forth from Houston to Austin alot lately. This is my daily now. Almost 38k miles. Someone pick this up before I put a tone of miles on her. She's in Austin at the moment. Hit me up if you want to see her. Working at Boost Logic now. If I keep the car much longer, the nitrous is gonna get some use.

You should have taken one of those offers. One day people will understand that adding a turbo makes your car worth less, not more. You can get an 03 for around $8k now, and then put $20k into to make it how you want it, not how someone else wants it. Sorry OP, but you'll never get anywhere near $28k for it. Your car is extremely hot, don't get me wrong, and I'm sure everything was done very professionally, but you'd have a better chance selling ice to an Eskimo. GLWS.

"Save yourself $50k"

Really? $50k?

This is one well done Z. Definitely worth the price in my opinion. I'm planning on going FI soon and your car is very tempting....

I seriously doubt you'll find an 03 with this mileage for $8k. If you want a salvage title, base model, that sits outside some apartment complex all day and night...you might get lucky. Fact is, you don't dictate what my car's worth. Hell, even KBB doesn't dictate what my car's worth. I know exactly what's she's worth....whatever someone is willing to pay for the car. No more, no less. Its a special car for a special buyer. This isn't a civic or a 240. These cars still cost a ton to mod...that's what makes the car worth more in my opinion.

If you think you can buy all my mods for $20k, you haven't been on this site long enough. As a matter of fact, prices have gone up on most things on my car. Navigate back to the first post and price out everything on my list. You probably won't even attempt to since you're looking for a $8k 350z. lol

carbonetics triple disc runs $2700
block and heads have $14k in them
HKS VPRO with all the bells and whistles $3000

Looky there...already over 20k and I haven't even got into the greddy twins, stereo, suspension, nitrous, fuel system, wheels, interior, exterior mods...shall I go on? I have my invoices uploaded to photobucket if you'd like to peek. I have one invoice for $28k. And that's just some of the stuff under the hood. So to answer your question...yea, over $50k.

Folks just don't fully understand all the time effort and money that go into these builds unless they do it first hand.

Also, I don't know that you could find a new car for $50k that makes 500-600rwhp that is reliable and can be beat on for years, much less $28k!

Robert, just keep the Z and get yourself a cheap 4 door beater like mine, you'll just need to avoid the temptation to modify it!!! LOL

I think the fact that you've been sitting on this for six months supports my argument pretty well, but GLWS.

LOL. I don't think you understand how lenders operate. The main problem with selling a car like this is banks won't lend money on a car that's selling for more than blue book. Not to mention they don't like financing a car more than 7 years old or 100k miles. While my mileage is fine, my car is 8 years old. So you'd need all the cash on hand or have a big down payment. And since most ppl looking for a 2003 Z are looking for $8k Z's...the market for this car is pretty small. I've had plenty of deals lined up at my original asking price ($31k), but they couldn't get financed.

Have a look at other cars in this subforum with similar builds...they are price around what mine is. Next time you decide to sh*t on someone's thread, I'll be happy to report you newb. So keep your hypocritical "glws" horse sh*t to yourself. Its not welcome here.

Thawk408 is selling his ride. No sleeves, but different turbos and fuel pump setup. $29k Case and point. BIYM

Word. I'll keep that in mind. DNF always gets a discounted price. Just ask Ryan. Sold him my EVOII exhaust for $450 back when they still sold used for a G.
