I'll be willing to work with a shipping company but the buyer has to pay for the shipping costs.
yeah, I'd pay the deposit to have it picked up and the full shipping charges upon delivery. (I've been looking into this for several months now for the right Z or STi)
has the timing belt/water pump ever been changed? which clutch/flywheel? Did this car list as any of the recalls - clutch/coolant system? Interior/engine pictures?

The timing belt/water pump has never been changed to my knowledge. I've owned this Z for 4 1/2 years 60,000 miles and I've never had a problem with those. The clutch/flywheel are both stock as far as I know. I have never changed the clutch or flywheel out since I've owned it but they are both just as strong as the day I got it. I checked the Carfax on it about a month ago for the first time and it did list a recall for some kind of fuel hose replacement before I owned the car. I didn't do any research on it because it has never givin me any problems.
If you go to Autotrader.com and look for my Z then you will see some interior and engine bay pictures. I don't have any with me right now since I'm on my work computer.
