Clean, but you're asking too much... I just bought a 2008 with 25,000 miles for 19,500... Car was flawless besides bald front tires, and a few small scrapes underneath from bottoming out (which is inevitable in these cars).

 

Was urs a nismo ? For 19k

$19-22k sounds extremely low.

Isn't nissan dealer trade-in on '08 nismo around $24-26k?

 

There are so many variabls, it's hard to estimate trade-in values. I'd say if you took a prestine Nismo with low miles to a specialty performance dealer, or MAYBE even a Nissan dealer, you could get upwards of 23k... but to be honest, your estimate is probably a little high if you took a "good" condition Nismo to a regular dealership.

i was implying a nissan (Z) dealer.. my friend was offered trade-in on his nismo (within last few days) for my posted response.. which is why i was shocked to hear someone say you were asking too much. a nismo is a nismo. if you run a carfax on your Z it should post a value in the report.

Much appreciated! I hope to sell it soon and am willing to genuinely work with a potential buyer on the price within reason if they make the transaction smooth. But I'm definitely not in a rush to sell it! I still get to drive it a couple times per week when my wife agrees to take and pick up our daughter.... I'm stuck driving the evo x on the other days

 

If this car stays here any longer I'm going to buy it for myself as a DD.
