Default Dumb question

Hi all,
Ive had my 06 now for 3 months. Ive been on here reading and keep seeing people refer to their 350z's as "ZR's". What does the R refer too? Also, what is the rev-up motor? Thanks for input. Bob

Got it......Thanks
But why is it called a "rev-up". What makes it different from the other engines?

Thanks for the info. I knew there were differences between the older engines, HP, timing, redline and such, but wasn't aware that that’s why they called it "rev-up". Thanks for the clarification.
