Default At the track again..

Well since the last time I went I have installed a JUN flywheel and the Crawford Intake Man. They both mad a HUGE diffrence.. This is my second time at the track but the first time at the 1.. I didnt even see the tree.. As i pulled up the guy asks for my green ticket as i soon realize my GF has it... Grrrr so I pulled to the side and had to run around like an idiot to find her in the crowd.. Finally got it and rushed to the burnout area.. I pulled up to the line and look up and notice the tree is counting down already!!! I was like WTF!! So I launched at 800 Rpms (my new ideal) I bogged and wound up with this.

R/T .680
60' 2.194
330 6.045
1/8 9.201
MPH 78.45
1000 11.898
1/4 14.193
MPH 98.51

SO I figure with a launch (im not even going to say better as i didnt even launch) I should be right around 13.9ish with noooo prob at all maybe a lil better..

I only got 1 run in as it started to rain and the rest of the event got canceled..

How come my bone stock Z auto launching from idle is very close to your time? I see you have mods. Maybe looking at 300hp. I really think the ECU over rides the mods? Whats up with that?

Well its kinda easy..

Auto went from idle right up the power band

Stick I did try to get the RPMS up but had to much clutch in and RMPS droped to idle and when I took off the motor bogged..

It is hard to explain what happened but all I know is it wasnt right.. Auto and Stick are VERY diff.. With my mods I should be 13.9.

There 350z is a lil lighter, lil diff ECU, CF driveshaft..

Hope this clears up why with mods im not that much faster.. I should be faster with a better launch 13.9ish.. with ECU, Lightweights, and Driveshaft I will be just as fast as any 350z with the same mods....
