Not just another plug thread...
I've searched high and low, yet found no definate answer.
I'm running a 1 step colder plug now, but I think I'm up for a change. I've sprayed through about 5 bottles now, and I'm just refreshing the engine consumables. I'm getting ready to pull the trigger on some more NGK 6 heat coppers. Would a 2 step colder iridium plug actually work better for something around a 100 shot? I've always been a copper fan, but I can't find heat range 7 coppers for the Z.

I’m not actually sure if this will answer your question but when I did spray I also was on the hunt for some good plugs. My hunt lead my to a nice informative phone call to NGK, I had discussed the pro and cons of the iridium plug vs the regular ones. The person that I was talking to sounded like he knew what he was talking about. I told him my setup and he actually recommended the iridium plugs over the copper ones. I forget the exact reason why but…. I figured I’d just share the knowledge I had. Good luck bro!
No reason to get 2-step colder copper plugs. Stick with what you had before and stop overthinking (i.e., iridiums).
If you're saying that the poster needs to provide more info, then it looks like you need to search.
I'm thinking this is the best route. I'll just upgrade my management before I move up the bottle any more. I tend to run over rich as it is. While the car is down I'll probably toss in some new -1's.

Whether or not I "need to search" is irrelevant in regards to whether someone should take ANY single-sentence advice that is simply an ad hominem attack as a fact of whether they should or shouldn't do something. I mean, I can make any kind of claim I want, and then just tell people to search.
This whole "you need to search" thing in every single thread and post on this forum is extremely passive-aggressive, and is the worst thing about these forums. Its hard to find decent info because every post is just someone yelling "search!", especially in this instance... have you tried searching for using nitrous with iridium plugs? Try it... if you can manage to find any threads that are of value, its generally people speaking from "I heard iridiums are bad for our car", etc.
On the topic of iridium plugs, the only thing of value I've found on the internet that is more than anecdotal evidence is manufacturers claiming that iridiums are okay to use with nitrous, and some suggesting 1 step colder (compared to copper -- 2 steps, in our case) in certain applications.

However, to an extent, I do agree with what you're saying. Many are quick to judge others based on the threads/posts they make and a helpful reply would be more beneficial than a one that merely states to "search."
Anyway, I'm done with replying to you, since this has nothing to do with what the OP wanted to know.
As far as iridiums, they are ok to use given that they're gapped properly and are of the correct temperature rating, although copper is generally more recommended. I believe that's because copper plugs are less prone to detonation than iridiums which are better than platinums. However, their longevity characteristics are in inverse order. Copper plugs are also cheaper than iridiums and platinums, too, I think.
Ok... I will attempt to solve this debate over plugs. What I will do is, on Monday I will call NGK again and take detailed notes of my conversation. Hopefully we should be able to get some good information on the different types of plugs ie. heat ranges, storage of latent heat, (Which causes delineation) Spark strength and ohmage. I will then post all of the information in this thread. So..... with that being said I'm off..... off to pillage the spark plug industry, to make sure my fellow Z drivers make sound decisions on their spark plug selection. “From here on out I denounce my throne as king of Zemunda”
