Default dot 3 vs dot 3 synthetic?

So I'm changing my fluids and cannot find a definite answer I trust. Is there a difference between the two fluids one just has synthetic on the label? Specifically Preston dot 3 synthetic vs stp dot 3?

They're the same. I'm just not sure what's in there as I just bought the car.
